While the rest of the country is donning rainbow garb and marching in parades, gays in Las Vegas are lounging by the pool and escaping the summer heat. However, in October, Sin City transforms into a full-fledged Pride celebration. Glitter, rainbows, revealing clothes, and queens are all on the menu.

The PRIDE Night Parade kicks off the festivities, which are followed by the PRIDE Festival the next day. The procession is open to anyone, however it is targeted more at adults, whereas the festival is more of a family affair.

There are lots of LGBTQ parties across town, including poolside mixers and midnight bashes, in addition to the official Pride activities.
